Plans change. When you need to move or cancel an appointment, the right first step is almost always the business you booked—not ZenSlotz support. ZenSlotz provides booking software; each business sets its own cancellation window, deposit rules, and contact preferences.

Check the business policy first

Open the same booking page you used originally. Many businesses publish cancellation or late-arrival notes near services or in their about section. Salons and clinics often require 24–48 hours notice; sports turf slots may have shorter windows because empty slots are hard to refill.

If you paid a deposit online, read whether it is refundable before you cancel. Policies vary and are set by the business.

Use self-service when available

Some businesses enable customer accounts so you can view upcoming visits and request changes. If you booked as a guest, look for a phone number, WhatsApp link, or email on the booking page or in your confirmation message.

  • Reply to your SMS or email reminder if it includes a contact number
  • Call during business hours for same-day changes
  • Allow time for staff to offer an alternative slot

Book a new time instead of no-showing
